A low headline rate that comes with a deposit, a separate insurance premium, and a van hire on both ends usually ends up costing more than a fair, all-in monthly price. Our approach is to remove the costs that shouldn't exist rather than trim the things that keep your belongings safe.
Several structural differences make our storage great value compared with a traditional unit.
Storage is billed at R850 per 6.3 m³ unit per month, and you book whole units — we work out how many from your item list. As a rough guide that's approximately R135/m³, though the actual charge is always R850 per 6.3 m³ unit per month rather than a per-cubic-metre rate. Collection is a standard once-off fee of R600 from our Epping warehouse, shown on your quote before you commit, and return delivery is quoted separately. Optional loading and carrying help is a once-off R200 per person, one person per booked unit. That's the entire price list. Nothing is calculated after the fact and nothing appears on a later invoice that wasn't on the quote.
Because you're billed per unit, small decisions have real financial effect. Break beds and tables down flat, use consistent box sizes so they stack tightly, pack linen and clothes inside drawers and appliances instead of storing them empty, and take five minutes to decide what genuinely deserves storing. Customers who prepare well often bring their load down by a whole unit — and that saving repeats every single month.
