Door-to-door collection and return delivery is at the heart of what PickupStorage does. You don't need to rent a van, drive to a self-storage unit or lift anything heavy — we handle it all.

Loading and transport
Our team arrives with the vehicle, carefully wraps and protects fragile items, and loads everything for transport to our warehouse. Awkward items are handled with care.
What happens on collection day
Our team arrives with blankets, wrap and labels. We walk through the items with you, wrap and protect furniture and fragile goods, label every box and piece, and record each item on your inventory as it's loaded. You get a copy of that inventory, so when you want something back you can ask for it by name — one box or the whole load.
Labelling
Every box and item is labelled at collection or on arrival at the warehouse, so nothing gets lost or mixed up.
Storage inside the warehouse
Items are stored on organised shelving inside our managed warehouse — a controlled-access space that customers don't enter directly.
How to request a return
Message us with the items or boxes you need back. We schedule a return delivery to any address in Cape Town.
Collection and return charges
Collection is a standard once-off fee of R900 from our Epping warehouse, shown on your quote before booking. Return delivery is quoted separately when you request your items back. These are not included in the monthly storage price.
