You pay for volume, not floor space. Every item you list is converted into cubic metres, added up, and charged at R206 per m³ per month. A few boxes and a bicycle can come in from R52 a month; a full three-bedroom home costs more, but you are still only paying for the space your possessions actually occupy. Compare that to renting a self-storage unit, where you choose a size, fill 60% of it, and pay for the rest anyway.

The monthly storage figure on your quote is the whole monthly figure — there is nothing bolted on afterwards.

Collection and delivery are the only costs outside the monthly storage fee, and they are quoted before you book. Travel is calculated at R13 per kilometre from our warehouse at 19 Fisher Avenue, Epping, and handling reflects the volume and access at your address — a ground-floor flat is quicker than a third-floor walk-up, and the quote says so. You'll typically pay a collection fee at the start and a return fee at the end; nothing is charged for storage days you don't use.
